A favourite cafe in Yelverton to stop at for breakfast, the coffee is delicious- after a circuit of Burrator, Sheepstor & Goodameavy an excellent place for lunch.

The Calstock ferry runs river trips in summer.

Our gang enjoyed hiring & cycling home via Lydford, then Brentor with lunch at The Elephants Nest. Bike hire in different hands since pandemic but is still using same good quality bikes.

It has been asleep for a few years but plans to re open in 2022. The railway into the mine is being rebuilt. A new kids soft play centre opened. We like to canoe up to Morwellham for an evening meal at The Ship.

Surrounded by shops- the cheese shop is renowned, De la Torres olives ditto & Dukes outdoor cafe. The old Police station and law courts nearby, are now restored into museum.
