Visiting The Snow

Transport and getting around
There are buses that come direct from Southern Cross Station or Tullarmarine.
To stay at Stockmans we would recommend a car or bike. There are buses up to Buller and Stirling during the Winter Months. There is a Taxi in Town but don't expect city services.

Autumn
Did you know our weather up here is on average 5 degrees warmer than Melbourne (other than the Winter months) So during the Autumn we are still enjoying warm days. Mansfield has it's own micro climate we are very lucky

Travelling with Kids
Mansfield is home to many young families so our resources for young people are well thought out. All venues will welcome kids. The Delatite and Mansfied Hotel both have play areas. The botanical park offers a large adventure play area. Teaching kids about respect for our bush and land around us is a big part of this community and a great place for your children to learn. Mt Buller is set up to teach kids to ski and board at an early age. The many bike tracks make for safe ridings for kids and adults. There is mini golf and donuts in Town.. Clothing shops for kids... and Babysitters.
