It's a boat dealership AND a restaurant! Casual, outdoor dining right on the lake. Live music, cold margaritas and lazy sunsets. Has a "beach" with rocking chairs for the adults and swings in the water for the kids. A local favorite.

Casual restaurant located in a restored farmhouse that was formerly the set for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 1974 movie. Now under new ownership and renamed "Hooper's" (a nod to the director and screenwriter of the movie). Texas-style pub food and delicious cocktails. They are currently renovating the old parking lot into an outdoor music venue and hang-out lawn.

Some of the best Mexican food in the area, in our opinion, served on real earthen-ware dishes (which is a nice, authentic touch). The only downside is they do not serve margaritas or any alcoholic drinks.

One of the OG Hill Country wine destinations known for its gorgeous lavender fields and expansive verandah. Make sure you visit the Estate Winery & Tasting Room for the authentic experience. This place is usually pretty bustling on the weekends so we recommend a weekday visit if possible.

We have been here so many times and never tire of it! It's a great mid-summer spot to get out of the sun and cool off for a bit. Beyond the natural mystery and beauty, it has a very fascinating history that is covered on the tour. We recommend making online reservations.
