Entrance to the Conservatory is an extra charge, where you'll see many species of Birds and other animals. Enjoy a premier meal at the Season's in the Park restaurant, a few steps away from the Conservatory.

Granville Island is one of the liveliest places to visit in Vancouver. They have a market for buying many local delicacies (seafood, fresh fruit, fresh doughnuts, coffee, crafts) as well as many theatre shows to watch. There are also many musicians and street performers near the water as well as some great restaurants. This is a 10-15 drive from the Riley Park Suite. Parking is approx. $2/hr on Granville Island.

Isla Granville
Granville Island is one of the liveliest places to visit in Vancouver. They have a market for buying many local delicacies (seafood, fresh fruit, fresh doughnuts, coffee, crafts) as well as many theatre shows to watch. There are also many musicians and street performers near the water as well as some great restaurants. This is a 10-15 drive from the Riley Park Suite. Parking is approx. $2/hr on Granville Island.
Located about a 30min drive from the Riley Park Suite, the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge and Park is a great spot where mainly locals go. The park gives you a sense of what most of Vancouver looked like in the past. There's a watering hole a short walk after crossing the bridge that is a great for a swim (water will be cold so do this on a warm day!)
There is no entrance fee for this park and parking is free. You can also take the bus here but will have to walk for 10 min to reach the park.

The park gives you a sense of what most of Vancouver looked like in the past. There's a watering hole a short walk after crossing the bridge that is a great for a swim (water will be cold so do this on a warm day!)

Gastown is a must-visit. A 15 min drive from the Riley Park Suite, Gastown features some of the city's oldest statues, monuments and characteristic red-brick roads. There are lots of Cafe's and shops to visit while strolling up and down Water St.
Vancouver's historic gastown is also walking distance to Waterfront Skytrain station, the Sea-bus, and also Coal-harbor which is great for walking along the sea-wall, seeing the sea-planes as well as the convention centers and cruise ships.

Mainly known for Kitsilano Beach, 'Kits' is home to many great clothing shops and restaurants on W4th ave (between Burrard and Arbutus) all a walking distance to the beach.

Stop off at Brockton Point and Prospect Point to take in the natural sights of Vancouver and the North Shore Mountains. There are also some 'hidden' beaches in Stanley Park that are frequented more by the locals than tourists. Get up close with some old-growth Douglas Fir trees that have been in the park for hundreds and sometimes thousands of years.

If not, you can always add your name to the list and explore Main St. or relax in many of the nearby parks.

One of the City's best sushi restaurants, definitely take your server's recommendation on which are the house's favorite rolls to order. Because this restaurant puts so much effort into their food, generally you should refrain from using soy sauce.

A 10 min walk from the Riley Park Suite, Les Faux Bourgeois serves some incredible French Cuisine. A highly recommended spot and we highly suggest trying their escargot dish. Call in advance for reservations if possible!
