Below are our favorite local beaches in the St. Augustine area! You can't go wrong with these sprawling white-sand beaches and crystal clear water!
St. Augustine beach is our favorite beach in the area and it's located just 15-20 minutes from the bungalow! St. Augustine Beach has everything you need for the ideal beach vacation – sunny accommodations, tropical seaside restaurants, a beachfront park with an impressive fishing pier, a large beachside pavilion, a splash park and sand volleyball court. Time spent in St. Augustine Beach can be as active or as laid-back as you like!

Vilano Beach is our 2nd favorite beach in St. Augustine! Vilano Beach is a quiet costal community located just 10 minutes from our bungalow! Known for its sandy Atlantic shoreline and fishing pier, Vilano Beach is just north of downtown. The beach has a steep drop-off, heavier surf, and a strong current due to its location near the inlet, which makes it ideal for surfing.

VILANO BEACH
Vilano Beach is our 2nd favorite beach in St. Augustine! Vilano Beach is a quiet costal community located just 10 minutes from our bungalow! Known for its sandy Atlantic shoreline and fishing pier, Vilano Beach is just north of downtown. The beach has a steep drop-off, heavier surf, and a strong current due to its location near the inlet, which makes it ideal for surfing.
With its sweeping coastline carving out a huge “C” where it meets the Atlantic Ocean, Crescent Beach is tucked between the traditional tourist attractions of St. Augustine and Matanzas Inlet to the south. This is a great beach further south from the bungalow (about 25-30 minutes) with typically less people than Vilano Beach or St. Augustine Beach.

Crescent Beach
With its sweeping coastline carving out a huge “C” where it meets the Atlantic Ocean, Crescent Beach is tucked between the traditional tourist attractions of St. Augustine and Matanzas Inlet to the south. This is a great beach further south from the bungalow (about 25-30 minutes) with typically less people than Vilano Beach or St. Augustine Beach.

Pet-friendly off-leash parks with water, shade, places to sit, and plenty of room for your pets to play!
Bring your furry friend to Paws Dog Park and give him/her a chance to experience Dog Life! Dogs can run, play and jump leash free while socializing with other dogs at the park! Paws Dog Park is located within the Treaty Park Complex and is open from dawn to dusk unless otherwise posted.

Home to some of the most stunning sunsets in all of Florida, Cap's On the Water offers delicious local seafood, an oyster bar, craft beer, wine, and cocktails. Cap's has a large outdoor deck for the best waterfront dining around!
