Food scene
Little Italy is a short walk away from the house. It has lots of great restaurants, bars, coffee places and shops in the area. Every Friday and Saturday night they have live music in the Piazza. Every Saturday morning 11-2pm, there is a wonderful farmer’s market that is an additional 8 blocks of outside booths filled with fresh produce, artwork, music and specialty items.

With the Gaslamp quarter being about a 10 minute drive from the house it’s a great place to go out and enjoy the night life! I recommend using Uber/Lift to get there (due to parking) So many great restaurants, bars and clubs. There’s the Shout house (dueling piano bar), The Coin op bar (1980s arcade style bar) and lots of clubs and breweries.

Gaslamp Quarter - The Historic Heart Of San Diego
614 Fifth AvenueWith the Gaslamp quarter being about a 10 minute drive from the house it’s a great place to go out and enjoy the night life! I recommend using Uber/Lift to get there (due to parking) So many great restaurants, bars and clubs. There’s the Shout house (dueling piano bar), The Coin op bar (1980s arcade style bar) and lots of clubs and breweries.
Old town is a must visit if you want to eat authentic Mexican food 😋 it also has lots of interesting facts about the start of San Diego, with museums of how the houses were back in the 1800s, the Whaley house ( most haunted house in SD) tours of Old town and even a blacksmith experience.

Sightseeing
Balboa park is a short 5 minute drive up Laurel street. There’s so much to do there! Lots of museums, the SD zoo, and the Japanese friendship garden just to name a few things to do!

Belmont park is a fun place to visit when heading to the beach 🏖 They have a great historic roller coaster 🎢 , mini golf ⛳️ lots of rides and food 🍦 right on the boardwalk. This is a popular spot!

Petco park is a short drive from the house. (Once again Uber/Lift is recommended due to parking)Nothing is more fun than catching a baseball game here!!! Tons of great food choices, a nice park area and of course baseball ⚾️

Although I’m putting this location as sightseeing there’s plenty of amazing restaurants here! Enjoy a nice afternoon walking along the bay! Lots of neat little shops here as well.

This house is situated in a great location to easily get to the convention center. It’s a short drive down Pacific highway.
