The picturesque Battle Park runs along the beautiful Tar River. The park has a trail system that covers several miles as it winds through this 93-acre forest. It traverses uneven and rocky ground, and some trails are steep.
Open 365 days a year from dawn til dusk, the trails are perfect for walking and bike rides. The park also has a boat ramp and plenty of great fishing spots.
