The BEST steakhouse in town, hands down! They have Angus beef, Gulf seafood, and great specials. A lively, full bar is available, and if you visit on the right night, you might catch some live music on the spacious patio.

Good Karma has been around Auburn for just a few years, but the locals love it; so much so that they have opened a second location in downtown Auburn recently.
They have some fantastic Indian-inspired treats: from a selection of different curries, a FANTASTIC mango lassi to lots of vegetarian options, they have a little something for everybody.
Visiting this new location on North College St gives you to experience all of the other great things downtown has to offer.

Good Karma

Their menu features some fantastic entrees, including great steaks, seafood and nightly specials. Hamilton's is actually a nice, low-key lunch spot, as well. With some more affordable, but quite tasty burgers, sandwiches, soups and salads available.
There is a quaint bar, and limited outdoor seating available, as well. It is a smaller location, and consistently popular, so calling ahead is definitely recommended.
Hamilton's is right in the middle of all of the action in downtown Auburn, so take that into account for planning.

Sightseeing
Most residents of Auburn know about the best place to get outside, and that's at Chewacla Park.
This is another one of those great benefits of Auburn. Much like our space, you can feel totally immersed in an outdoor experience, just minutes from town!
There's an amazing lake complete with a small beach, available for swimming. There's also a swim-out high dive platform if you're feeling brave, and paddle boats and canoes available for rental. Plenty of outdoor benches and seating, public use grills and pavilions are spread throughout the park, as well.
You could spend the better part of a day hiking the miles of trails, and your visit should include a stop at the signature waterfall, below the lake.
Chewacla has also become known as quite the destination, for mountain bikers, with more trails, jumps and tricks than you could shake a stick at.
Pack a picnic lunch, or grab something from a local restaurant, and take the family out for a few hours at this great park; you don't regret it. Admission is $4 for adults, and a bit less for the kiddos. They are open seven days a week, and always close at sundown, in any season.
The park is a quick 10 minute ride from our property. Hop on Shug Jordan from Richland, and then it's just a quick trip down South College.
