Considered by many to be one of the best casual fine dining restaurants in the city, Odd Duck is definitely a foodie favorite. The service is stellar, and the bar is an awesome spot for a well crafted cocktail and an appetizer if you'd rather not to commit to the full dinner experience :)

Just down the street from the classic Milwaukee music venue Shank Hall, The Pasta Tree is an Italian restaurant owned by our friend Suzette Metcalf, who also happens to be the incredible chef. It's romantic without being pretentious or stuffy, and the food (all made from scratch in-house, including the ridiculously delicious bread) is out of this world.

We love the carefully preserved character of this natural and human history museum, which was founded in 1882 and now houses over 4 million specimens. Brett grew up going there, it's definitely a nostalgic spot for a lot of locals! Their "Streets of Old Milwaukee" and "European Village" permanent installations are worth the price of admission alone.

Dating back to 1901, the iconic Basilica of St. Josaphat is open Monday through Saturday, 9AM to 4PM for visits and tours. The Saint Josaphat Parish was formed in 1888 as an offshoot of Saint Stanislaus Parish (the first urban Polish parish in the US) and quickly became the largest Polish parish in Wisconsin. Modeled after St. Peter's Basilica, the incredible looking structure includes salvaged materials from the Chicago Post Office and Custom house, which were brought to Milwaukee on 500 railroad flatcars!

The Milwaukee Riverwalk ties together three distinct waterfront neighborhoods (The Historic Third Ward, Downtown, and Beerline B). It is more than 20 blocks from end to end, and is an awesome way to get to see different areas of the city at your own pace. The Riverwalk is also home to an outdoor art gallery called RiverSculpture!, with a rotating display of sculptures.
