【"Sakurajima" Yogan Nagisa Park Footbath】
This footbath offers you a relaxing time with free of charge. It is about 100m long, one of the longest footbaths in Japan. Enjoy this hot spring with the view of beautiful nature. There are many literary monuments with poems and a 3km-long walking path.

【Terukuni Shrine】
Terukuni Shrine is dedicated to Shimadzu Nariakira, the 28th lord of the Simadzu Family. The Shrine is near the Tsurumaru Castle Ni-no-maru. In Tanshoen, besides the statue of Shimadzu Nariakira, there are statues of Shimadzu Hisamitsu and Shimadzu Tadayoshi, who followed in Nariakira's footsteps. Rokugatsudo Lantern Festival, held in July every year, is the biggest lantern festival in Kagoshima Prefecture.

Terukuni Shrine
19-35 Terukunichō嶋津家28代当主、島津斉彬公を祀る神社。鶴丸城二ノ丸跡近くにあり、神社横の探勝園には斉彬公の銅像のほか、その遺志を継いだ久光公や忠義公の銅像もある。毎年7月に行われる六月灯は県下最大規模。

Terukuni Shrine is dedicated to Shimadzu Nariakira, the 28th lord of the Simadzu Family. The Shrine is near the Tsurumaru Castle Ni-no-maru. In Tanshoen, besides the statue of Shimadzu Nariakira, there are statues of Shimadzu Hisamitsu and Shimadzu Tadayoshi, who followed in Nariakira's footsteps. Rokugatsudo Lantern Festival, held in July every year, is the biggest lantern festival in Kagoshima Prefecture.

The site of the main residence of the Imaizumi Shimadzu family, where Princess Astuhime was born. Though there is no residence remaining, the stone walls are reminiscent of those days. There is a signboard at the Nanshu-koen- iriguchi stop in front of the stone walls.
