One of my favourite cities. So much history, a great place to shop, buskers, art galleries, good theatre, great eating/drinking places (we like Hall & Woodhouse in the old auction rooms) and not too big.

A medieval castle, built in the late 14th century by Sir John Delamare on the profits of his involvement in the Hundred Years War, the moated castle's architectural style, possibly influenced by the design of French castles, has provoked considerable academic debate. Remodelled during the late 16th century, Nunney Castle was damaged during the English Civil War and is now ruined.

For an evening out, customers can dress up a bit, enthuse about delicious food, savour local craft beers and indulge in classy cocktails. There is usually live music or DJs in the adjoining event space, linking up Bocabar Bristol bands and DJs with local musicians, as well as artists from further afield. They work with the Red Brick Building on events such as these, which contribute to the ongoing fundraising for the community project. Aside from these weekend events, they also support the charity SLAP by giving free coffees and teas once a week during their drop-in advice sessions.
