This old abbey and church are the institution aroucn wich the old town of Forest developped itself in medieval times. Now it is an 18th Century abbey with park in whitch it is fun to stroll around and enjoy the sun.

This old brewery turned into a art center regularly opens it's doors for modern art exhibitions. The industrial building from the fiftees is an ideal setting for the art. If you go to the rooftop you get a stunnig vue of Brussels. What I love about it is that you can recognise the different zones of the city: the center, the residential area, the industrial area etc.

Getting Around
This trainstation at 200m from our house has two trains an hour that will bring you to the Central station in 10 min.

This tram and busstop has a bus or tram leaving every 5 to ten minutes to Gare du Midi, the trip takes about 15 min.
