Only on Saturday Mornings. Everything you could ever want from a market from produce to soap. Try the perogies if you can find the little cart making them - decent price and it'll keep you going.

This is by far the best place to get groceries. Once a Mexican market but has become much more - they have everything from organic cleaners to perfectly ripe papaya. If you can, buy chorizo. So good.

This is by far my most frequent stop in Detroit. The coffee drinks are spot on (try the lavender latte) and the wine list is hand picked by a friend of mine. Sit at the bar. Don't bring your computer.

Great club if you're into Jazz. The food has gone downhill in the past year but the music has stayed as delightful as it ever was. Sit, listen and if you get a chance, walk around the place and look.

The bagels here are hand-crafted Detroit originals. Dont be distracted by the many options for food - the rosemary and sea salt is by far the best, toasted, cream cheese. Keep it simple.

This is the best and closest place to grab food (DELICIOUS SANDWICHES) and a beverage. Impeccable beer selection, their wines are more than what you'd expect from a sub shop and they have coffee too!

This distillery is home to our good friend Brad Greenhills Thai food pop-up "Katoi". The drinks are so-so, the service is terrible, but the food makes it all worth it. After 5pm is when they start.
