A beautiful and interesting village-museum. This tiny little village was so important that it was the first place in all Norway to get electricity in 1905. Even before Oslo!

Amazing beach, and hiking opportunity too. One of the less known but more impressive places in Lofoten.
Tip: to really see the beach, follow the camping road and before the entrance, turn to the right and park near the cemetery. Then, go walking to the beach (follow the signs there). If you only see the beach from the road, you wont see the meanders which makes the beach so special.

If you can, get to Svolvær and pick a boat to visit Trollfjord while feeding the white tail eagles. It's something you'll never forget.
