Thursday’s only - daytime market is veggies, etc. not sure if a lot of food booths also, not sure if artisan and retailers too? The night time market is food booth heaven!!! One of every type, it seems like: Indian, Kenyan, Guatemalan, Philippino, Japanese, falafel, tacos, fried shrimps, 2 minute thin crust pizzas, stuffed grilled cheese, creole food, barbecue, flame broiled goodness, fire cooked salmon dishes, etc...etc.. etc. And dessert booths you will die for! Not sure the hours for the daytime farmers market. But, the evening Sunset Market is 5p-9p every Thursday. Live music and retail booths too. Come by my booth across from Cabo where the pupps and I sell lipstick!!!

DJ every night. Not the cleanest place, but the drinks are cheap and the music is good. Just keep your phone and wallet well hidden. Lol. If you want to meet a US Marine, and thank them for their service by buying them a drink, you will undoubtedly find a few there. 12 blocks.

Friday and Saturday night, the basement of Cabo grill transforms into a night club. Keep a very close eye on your wallet in this place. Music is good but the place is very dark and dingy. Drinks are not cheap. Davinas Cabo grill is also a restaurant. The food is not the best or cheapest. But their rooftop is awesome! Live music on rooftop sometimes. 12 blocks.

Music is good but the place is very dark and dingy. Drinks are not cheap. Davinas Cabo grill is also a restaurant. The food is not the best or cheapest. But their rooftop is awesome! Live music on rooftop sometimes. 12 blocks.
Kareoke some nights, live music in earlier evenings and then DJs starting at about 10pm on Friday and Saturday, bar and restaurant every night. It’s a pretty nice place. Great outside patio area with fire pits. Good food too. 5 miles away. There’s a ton to do around here as well. This Comminity is a bit less grungy than oceanside and you’ll find some very nice places to eat and drink in Carlsbad village.

The shout house just happens to be my favorite place down there. It’s for over 21 only. So, it’s not family friendly. It’s 40 miles away. You’ll want to uber or drive. An Uber that distance will cost $30 - $60, depending on time of evening, etc. Maybe can catch the train at least for one leg, if not both, if you time it right? If I’m available, I will totally go with you! I love this place!

Then head over to the dessert booths and get some gluten free brownies, some cheesecake bites, and try a beignet smothered in chocolate or strawberries and whipped cream. And while you’re down there, come find me selling lipstick at my booth across from Cabo restaurant. My dogs and I are there every week!
