The best surfing beach in the area - world class waves for surfers and strong swimmers, and narrow protected coves for youngsters. Beautiful rock formations protect, deep swimmable tide pools at high tide and there are also shallow tide pools for children to play in. Good swimmers only in the ocean! There are strong currents! Excellent cast fishing off of the rocks. Dolphins are often seen swimming in the breakers and beyond the rocks. Also a monument to the late Ramon Sanpedro (right to die activist). There is a very simple cafe restaurant at the parking lot.

An observatory on the top of the highest mountain of the Sierra de Barbanza. On a clear day you can see north to Fisterre, (Finistiera) and south to Pontevedra and get a first hand look at the lay of the land and all of the rias. You will certainly drive past wild horses on your way up. At the top is a small cafe restaurant. Not overly touristy.
