Built in 1706 with a dome added in 1841.The 18th century frescoes on the walls and cupola are bright and garish but very striking.The 1820 sundial is beautiful. Make sure you rub the bronze doors on the way out.

Open 6PM-10PM, Sunday and Monday is Closed;
Find this little restaurant, close to the scenic old town core and yet very different from the other restaurants in the area. A limited menu, a small footprint, food that is thought through, elegantly done, in an extremely friendly and well appointed site. You will walk away feeling satisfied but not stuffed and with the sense that the menu is put together with coherence and thoughtfulness. Hard to find but worth the hunt.

Quite an interesting place, formerly a military base, it's now a hangout for local artists/creative types with graffiti everywhere and a chilled out vibe. Definitely worth a visit for something a little different.

Garden is more like a nice park - which I like more then Tivoli as there are not many people around! No big but nice for an hour or more if you visit the winter garden or perhaps occasional exhibition. It is close to Ljubljanica and not far from the castle and old town. Worth a visit any time of the year.
