It is close, big and has great views. It is our neighborhood "beach". There is a wide open field for walking and games, lots of trees for shade and hammocks, fields for sports, a park for exercise, and a BBQ and hangout space where you can tak shelter if it rains.

The most iconic trail system in Boulder. It lies at the foot of the flat irons and offers great views. Parking is limited and there can will likely be "crowds" on weekends.

Food Scene
A friend, Robb, owns it and it is delicious. It is new and a bit upscale but you will not be let down with the food, drinks or experience. Classic Boulder Farm to Table cuisine with food that wont leave you feeling too full at the end. If you like cider there is a huge selection. If you don't like it, you might after you leave :). If you go, let him know you are staying at my place.

Who doesn't love a good biergarten?! This place popped up in Boulder 5 or so years ago an was a instant hit. Big delicious beers, communal tables, and live something most nights of the week. The German food is pretty darn good too.

Bomb craft cocktails in a unique atmosphere - it ill cost you but it is fantastic. Don't go hungry because the food options are sparse. Homemade tonic that is incredible. 4 years later i am still waiting for them to bottle it :)
