Nestled in a bay, only small waves with a rocky headland to explore the shells and sea anemones. Lovely beach perfect for your beach walk. There is also a boardwalk that runs along the beach through the trees - this will take all the way down to the rock wall and the fish markets - go to the last shop - the best prawns and fish

Across the river there is a lovely walk around the river head - take the walk along the rock wall and around the front beach up to the lighthouse. Cute little surf beaches on the way and Kawana Beach is a good surf spot except when there is a southerly coming through.
