Owned + operated by the proprietors of Rune Wines. Please note that the Winemaker's Casita is located next door to the Adobe House. There is plenty of room for privacy, or book both!

2017 guest house in Tucson Mountain foothills adjacent to Sweetwater Preserve (14+ mi.s of trails: mountain biking, horseback, running, & hiking)! Enjoy the giant soaking tub, BBQ grill, sunsets & patio. A full kitchen, sitting area, bath & BR are downstairs (550 sq. ft.). Up a 90-degree ladder to BR/retreat space, wonderful for getaway views. Our property is a 3-acre lot w/ desert flora/fauna, stars, & quietness, yet only 10 mi. from UA. Horses add to the ambiance with a taste of ranch life.

Nestled at the foot of stunning Red Butte, Thunderbird Suite is southwestern decor with antique furniture. Just outside the glass doors, is a desert landscape of Saguaros & other Sonoran natural desert cactus & trees. Thunderbird is an independent, private suite added onto the main house, with a wall separating it. There is laundry available just next to the private bath with shower & tub. A beautiful place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of southern AZ. We are located on a secluded farm just minutes from the heart of wine country. Hike or bike on National Forest Land right from our front door, or book a wine tasting tour in near by Sonoita. Other nearby attractions include, two lakes with boating and fishing, shops, restaurants, horse back riding, and an abundance of hiking and wildlife viewing areas. Day trips to Tombstone, Bisbee, Tubac.

Our quiete place is nestled in the foothills of the Santa Rita Mountains at the Grasslands High Desert.
