The apartment was gently renovated in 2024 - the traditional, cozy living style was deliberately preserved.

The apartment is 10 walking minutes from the train station in Lauterbrunnen and has a great view to the mountains and the Staubbach Falls. Explore the breath-taking surroundings from this peaceful country house. Wilderswil is at the entrance of the valley that leads to the famous Alps: Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau: The Top of Europe. From the apartment you have direct views on these mountains. The new Eiger Express is 25 min by train from Wilderswil Station which also offers a cogwheel train up to the Schynige Platte and a 5 min connection to Interlaken. The area offers many walking paths and hiking tracks, starting from the house.

In summer enjoy the countless hiking trails; in winter we are perfectly placed in-between the ski areas of Murren-Schilthorn AND Wengen-Grindelwald. We've lived here since the apartment was built in 2012 and we love it; but now we are travelling, so we hope you enjoy your time here as much as we do.

***NO PARTIES*** On top floor of an old, traditional house in the heart of Switzerland. Close to Interlaken and Spiez with a spectacular view. This place is unique, very calm. There is public transport, but I would recommend coming by car. A parking lot is provided for you. note: the bathtub is currently out of order. There is no AC as there are generally no ACs in most Swiss Apartments due to how hard it is to obtain permits for them.

The Chalet "Wasserfallhüsli" is centrally located in Lauterbrunnen and probably offers the most spectacular view in all of Lauterbrunnen. From the balcony you have a breathtaking view of the gigantic and world famous Staubbach Falls. In addition to the Staubbach Falls, depending on the weather, another five waterfalls can be seen. The incredible panorama is rounded off by the church directly in front of the Staubbach Falls.
