Thoughtfully renovated in 2021-23, Room #4 features two-story, floor-to-ceiling views to the Nehalem River. The first floor has oversized swivel chairs, a kitchenette (w/ mini fridge, Keurig and microwave) and dining a dining set. A tight, circular staircase winds up to the bedroom level, with a king size bed (and great linens) and luxurious bathroom, w/ heated floors and dual shower heads. This room has a private deck on each level, in addition to several shared outdoor areas. No pets, please.

For the budget-conscious traveler, our Cabin Light rooms - with shared, single occupancy restrooms and showers - offer a quieter, less expensive alternative to standard rooms. These rooms are located in the interior of the building, providing more insulation from downtown Astoria. With a plush queen bed, original apron sinks, and original artwork, the Cabin Light rooms are an ideal fit for those looking to spend a little less but still take advantage of all that the Norblad Hotel has to offer.

Beach Stay Unit #3 is a comfortable quiet one room plus bath unit decorated with a Flintstone theme & a grass wall. The unit features a king size bed, a TV and an area for making light meals and morning coffee. There is a mini refrigerator, a microwave, and both a small drip coffee pot and a Keurig coffee maker.The bath is small but adequate with a shower stall. The unit is at the rear of the property and features a deck with four steps up to the front door.

These oceanfront rooms (there are 4 different room layouts) have king beds and kitchens (oven, microwave, sink). Relax in the deep jetted tubs and near the electric fireplace. We are conveniently located on the quieter end of Seaside on Ave U. We are steps away from the beach & right on Seaside's famous Promenade. Enjoy easy access to popular shops and restaurants from this charming place to stay. We are a 10-15 minute walk up the prom to downtown or a 3 minute car ride.
