Sjónarhóll is a holiday home built year 2000 in the Vörðufell area close to Laugarás small village, by the roads of the Golden circle. Beautiful location and scenery to the rivers Hvítá and Laxá. Hekla the volcano can be seen to the east and the glacer Langjökull to the northeast and panorama of other mountains. Sjónarhóll is a good home base for visiting and see some of the greatest tourist attractions as Gullfoss,Geysir,Þingvellir,Skálholt Cathedral.Secret lagoon.Jökulsárlón, Landmannalaugar

Spacious Hekluhestar guesthouse on the farm

Our guesthouse was built by my parents, with the idea that it would be similar to the viking houses in the old days : a big open space, divided in three parts. It's nothing too fancy, but all basic necessities are here ! You also have access to two extra bathrooms and showers, and a sauna. The farm has horses, sheep, chicken and dogs roaming around ! The accommodation is strategically located, about one hour from Reykjavik, from the black sand beaches of Vik, and from the Golden circle.

Brand new comfortable and well-designed cabins. The sheltered hot outdoor shower, accessible from the bathroom, is a delightful experience in all weathers. They are both very private though it is just a stone’s throw away from the Ring Road. Excellent base for exploring the wonders of the South, for instance Gullfoss & Geysir, The Westmann Islands, the beautiful waterfalls along the south coast and The black beach in Vik.

Ossabær 1 is a small cabin with room for 5 people in the middle of the Icelandic nature with views over the mountains around 10 minutes away from the nearest city and 10 minutes from seljandsfoss and the vestmannaeyjar ferry. The house has a small kitchen, double bed (queen size) and a bathroom with shower. There is a platform in front of the guesthouse with a heater and comfortable chairs . Guests will have access to hot tub and a outdoor barbeque.
