Lydford Gorge is a short drive away. Cross the road to the footpath that takes you onto the moor. The Annexe is on a small holding.

A perfect getaway for up to 4 people with two large roomy bedrooms, a fantastic open living area and a large outdoor decking. This special cottage is situated in the grounds of author Doris Lessing's Devon longhouse and has been lovingly renovated to provide stylish, comfortable accommodation. the location of this place is just perfect for walking and cycling on the moors, visiting areas of historical interest, enjoying local food and ales. It is a great base from which to explore the beautiful swimming holes of Dartmoor and some ancient landscapes. It is set in lovely gardens in a family run caravan park that is very secluded. It has chickens and ducks roaming free and is super quiet (maybe the summer holidays are a bit noisier!).
