Nestled in the countryside just outside York, 'The Kennel' is a relaxing and peaceful retreat. This small but perfectly formed self-contained annex is set in three acres of newly planted woodland in which you can often see the Tawny Owls visiting to be fed from the feeding posts, dependent upon the time of year when you stay. There is a small orchard, wildlife pond and apiary housing up to 4 beehives which provide us with some delicious honey.

Situated in picturesque farmland Moxby Priory Cottage offers a perfect base to explore everything that North Yorkshire has to offer. Just 10 miles from York this former granary dating back to 1840 has been lovingly renovated to offer a private retreat.
