Here in White Grass Village, you can experience the real life of Tanna, with a family homestay just beside a sacred Banyan tree, 20 m to the beachside, and the sound of waves to fall asleep to. My family of five is a part of the home, three small kids, my wife Caroline who works as a midwife in the hospital, and me, Phil, who is working in the tourist business as a guide, dive instructor, and driver, which makes me able to arrange most tours on the Tanna. Here you become a part of the family.

The bungalow is close to a big volcano called Mount Yasur, which sometimes makes lava and smoke. From your tree house's balcony, you can see the pretty rainforest and the huge volcano. Inside, the bungalow is comfy and has everything you need, like a cozy bed and a nice view. You can also watch the volcano eruptions from your window, which is really cool!

From the balcony you can see the impressive Yasur Volcano and at night the red glow of the frequent eruptions light up the skyline in spectacular visual display of nature’s unbridled power (eruptions occur about every 20 minutes). Your visit and overnight stay will truly be the unforgettable experience of a life time. My tree house can accommodate four in two bedrooms (double and two single beds).

Tanna Volcano View Treehouse - Mango Treehouse

The Mango Tree House has one double bed and one single bed all with mosquito nets. Kids stay free! We are a local family located in a very convenient area, just in front of the main entrance of Yasur volcano. We have two treehouses and plenty of green a reas for camping if you bring your own tent. Breakfast is included in the rate and lunch/dinner is available on request. You are welcome to stay with our family and share experiences with local people :)
