We would love to welcome you to our unique John Scott home/apartment (with radiators!). The New Zealand Architect, John Scott, was an eccentric chap and was renowned for designing unique buildings. Our home doesn’t disappoint and we are excited to share it with the air bnb community. A self contained wing of our home is located in a tranquil spot. A five minute drive or a stroll along the lakefront will get you into town. We are a few minutes walk from the Botanical Gardens and the lakefront.

Please note: We do not charge a cleaning fee; check out is 11am or otherwise by arrangement. Hosted by Iain and Virginia, Uiskentuie is ideally located for Napier's beautiful amenities. It is accessible and private, a self-contained apartment with generous sized bedroom and a day-room with mini kitchen, modern decor and access to private garden area. Walkways and cycling trails are on the doorstep and its an easy walk to restaurants and pubs. You'll feel on holiday as soon as you get here.

The White Cottage

A quaint traditional period home set at the edge of a 100 acre farm. Although it is one of 3 homes on the property it still very much retains its unique quiet country feel. You’ll love the cottage because of its outdoor views down the valley, neighboring farmlets & dairy farms. It has extensive outdoor space being adjacent to the local forest park. My place is good for couples, small families. Being a hobby farm there is stock on the property which can be easily viewed from the cottage.

Noir Cottage, a peaceful Black Barn style retreat!

The Black Barn style petite Noir cottage is a one bedroom, self-contained space beautifully appointed in a gorgeous setting. Sunny, quiet and elevated with bush and sea views set on a 2 acre site. There are 11 kms of bush walking tracks to enjoy and a tennis court. The Bay View village is a 5 minute drive away which offers a Four Square, Fish& Chip shop, Pub, & Pharmacy. Biking tracks are close by. The airport is 7mins away. Close by are two great vineyards which do tastings and food.

You will love the warm and relaxed feel of our 1970s beach bach with open plan living in the kitchen, lounge and dining area & new aluminium windows. Private outdoor courtyard area. Tea, coffee and coffee pods provided for the Nespresso machine. 2min walk to the beach and on the doorstep of the HB Bike Trail. Snapper Park Cafe is a short walk. HB airport is a 5 minute drive. Crab Farm Winery, The Art Shed, Bellatinos Food Lovers Market is a 12 minute walk away or 2 minute drive.

Welcome to Whirinaki Beach Escape, the perfect spot to just stop and watch the sunrise over HB. Our cabin is perfect for a few days away to explore what HB has to offer and there is a lot to see. Grab a morning coffee and head across the road the watch the sunrise over the ocean. We are only 15 mins away from town or 5 mins away from Bayview village. Plenty of parking available. We are super dog friendly and our cabin is fully fenced to keep your woofer secured.

Only a 2 minute stroll to the Lake or the beautiful spring fed Waitahanui River, and 10 minutes from the centre of Taupo township. 58 inch LED TV, Blu Ray DVD and movies as well as a heat pump air conditioner and free WiFi.
