Best Georgian food in town Very tasty cheese pies (khachapuri) - make sure to try khachapuri acharuli, an Adjarian version of the traditional Georgian pie that is finished with a runny egg on top of all the cheesy goodness. Imeretian/Megrelian pies are also awesome, and if you are lucky to be there the day they make Achma, a version of the pie with homemade puff pastry, definitely try it! Khinkali, the traditional Georgian dumplings, and pelmeni, a similar Russian/Ukrainian fare, are made in house and can be eaten in or taken away. Prices are very modest.
