Melillo is an extremely talented guy, but also humble — he doesn’t make a big fuss about being noticed, which is why his food feels so special. Gracie’s is open for takeout, with outdoor dining in a shared patio space.

One of the top 20 pizza places in all of Portland (Portland is now known as the pizza capital of the US, yes!) and this one happens to be in St Johns! New Haven style pizza made by 1 dude, in a wood fired oven. 70 pizzas per day until he runs out. He's a 1 man operation. Order online and go pick up or sit outside by the fire pit and get a cocktail next door at The Garrison.

Eater (foodie website) says this is some of the best pizza in Portland. Try it for yourself - it's just down the street! Just get there early because they can run out of dough.

Ok, so Pizzaiolo Craig Melillo makes his own sourdough crust from a PNW grain that is slow-fermented... and he makes his own cheese! Gracie’s, is a little pizzeria in St. Johns, so if you're checking out Cathedral Park, this is a great sport to grab a bite. They also have some house-made ice creams in creative flavors. They've got outdoor seating on the patio!
