Good American food. Restaurant converted from an early 19th-20th century schoolhouse. A unique local place.

The Schoolhouse Restaurant is a local gem offering home cooked meals with 5 sides included (Cole Slaw, Salad, Vegetable, Mashed Potatoes, Corn Bread). Located along the bike trail, this restaurant comes highly recommended.

Built in the early 1860's, during the Civil War, the school was one of the first schools in the Midwest with a second story. The place boasts a home-spun appeal, from the goats and geese roaming around out back to the family style dining.
