The Lutine is a British ship that inexplicably went down in 1799 between Vlieland and Terschelling with a huge cargo of gold on board. All that gold at the bottom of the sea has infected many divers with the gold rush. However, they were not as successful as prospectors. Three Egmond divers have changed that. With their ingenious strategy, she fished up one gold bar after another. But the gold rush has also fueled greed among the Egmonders. In order not to have to hand over half of their finds, they planned to hide the gold and resurface later unseen. We recently found the diary of one of the divers and it appears that this was never successful. Will the gold still be hidden somewhere on the ship?
