On the 11th floor of the Isetan Department Store building in Kyoto Station, Tonkatsu Wako serves amazing tonkatsu (fried crumbed pork) with all you can eat sidedishes (rice and cabbage). Make sure to try the miso sauce with the tonkatsu! There's also English menus.

The cutlet itself was so light and crisp without being excessively oily at the same time. The pickles and sauces (yuzu/mustard/original) are all awesome. You can order as much miso soup, shredded cabbage, and rice you want so don't be shy to ask (especially since there isn't too much to begin with).The miso soup had clams in them!
