New walking/running/hiking bridge crosses the James River. Beautiful views of the City of Richmond. Note: if you take your furry friends (which is welcomed) make sure their toenails are not long (they could get caught in the bridge).

brand new as of 2017, this is a great pedestrian bridge that you can walk across the james river and see the downtown skyline from. On a nice day it can get a little crowded. You'll definitely want walking shoes because its probably a good 2 miles or so from the parking area to the end of the bridge and back.
