There is fishing and a nice pavilion with picnic tables and a dock at this lake. There are a couple of flight services that fly float planes out of here. Great place to take a canoe ride

Christiansen Lake is a local park within walking distance from the cabin. Sit at the shoreline and watch floatplanes land and takeoff! A mile further afield is X-Y Lakes, a fantastic local park with easy hiking/mountain biking trails encircling a network of lakes. Two free canoes are often available on the shoreline. Bring your own paddle!

Christiansen Lake Park is a small day-use park located on the west side of Christiansen Lake, east of the community of Talkeetna. There are several picnic sites, a swimming beach, three pavilions and a boat launch for small car top boats or canoes.
