Top international racers have been guests of the Long Lodge. Located just off the route, these folks know what a great series of roads this area includes: paved, hills, dirt, and all among beautiful scenic farmland, river corridor, and little traffic! You don't have to be an athlete to enjoy biking this area- we can advise on flatter terrain along the Battenkill, terrain though hills and valleys, interspersed with a stop for lunch, a respite by the river - no matter where you turn, it is spectacular.
