Lake Borumba is stocked for fishing and has a new launching ramp and boat parking. Ask the owner of Borumba Fishing and Outdoors shop in Imbil for expert information. The lake is suitable for power boats, jet skis, water-skiing, canoes, sups and kayaks, it also has a small beach. The picnic area has undercover seating and a lovely view of the lake.

Borumba has a nice day use area right at the dam, or you can dive down the creek from the spillway for secluded personal little places on Yabba creek. Good fishing/swimming and yabbying. Boats can be hired from the deer park if yu would like to explore the lake.
