Local hotspot - worth checking out if you like the "scene" and good beer - for a nice classic cocktail check out Block -it's sister attached quaint cocktail bar and charcuterie plate.

Lowbrau offers craft cocktails and famous sausages made in house. I once took a spanish tourist here who was missing food at home and got her a charcuterie board that brought tears to her eyes! This is a lively spot on nights and weekend and is great to meet new people and socialize. Located in a progressive part of town, so people flock to this location.

This bar/restaurant shares a lot of Sacramento charm - sit outside with a pint and watch the bikes, pedestrians, and world go by. Vegan-friendly (field-roast "sausage")

You must try the duck fat or dirty duck fat fries! The are other worldly.

Updated/hip version of a German beer hall. Extremely popular w/ the 20-30 crowd, but moms & dads love it, too. Superb front patio. Great sausages (including 3 vegan flavors!) & beer selection.
