You will need much time to walk around this large garden centre that also incorp[orates a large restaurant.

If you like to spend time looking around a modern day garden centre then Gates ticks most of these boxes. It is about 30 minutes away and close to Oakham in Rutland, the smallest and county in England. A lovely drive and part of the country.

People travel for miles to visit Gates. A huge garden centre with a large restaurant that do great breakfasts, lunches and afternoon tea. There is also a really big farm shop selling a variety of products. Well worth a visit.

Nr Oakham, 40 mins away. Massive scale garden centre, plants, home, gifts, restaurant. Spend half a day here.

There is a large restaurant, garden centre, local food outlet and shop(offering, amongst other things, gifts, cards, furniture, clothing and pet supplies)
