Great little country store 15 minutes away at Irving gas station. Decent selection of produce, milk, eggs, meat and seafood. Friendly and helpful staff.

Located only a 5 minute walk away- Gallant’s is a PEI institution! A market, grocery store and gas station that’s been in operation at this location for 4 generations- they’ll have everything you need from local and fresh produce, take-out meals like lobster rolls and pizza, baked goods, ice cream and much more. A new Island rural transit stop has also been added here, allowing for shuttle bus travel to Charlottetown or to the hotspots of Cavendish and North Rustico and many other destinations. Very affordable- but rides must be booked at least 3 hours in advance. See the TransitPEI website for online booking and details.

Nice stop to make on the way home from the North Shore if you need groceries. The best local lettuce by far!!!

If you're planning to get groceries somewhere close to the cabin, we highly recommend Gallant's. For such a small shop, they're very well stocked with fresh seafood & meats and the best Island produce! They also have ADL ice-cream by the scoop.

This is a great grocery which will have everythingyou need including local seafood, produce, fruit, and even firewood. And there'san art gallery on the second floor!
