A little farther out of town is El Cabo Verde. This mexican restaurant is in a beautiful, modern neighborhood. They serve great drinks and food. The dining area is a little small but worth the wait or a call-ahead.

A little drive from South Highlands area, but always has delicious fresh options and the guacamole/queso is great. Gluten-free options are available.

This spot is a little bit of a drive, but it is truly one of our favorites! The tortilla soup is unreal, and the rice is like no other. We recommend the vegetable enchiladas and the sweet potato enchiladas (I know...who would think?!)
