Wonderful walks and trails on this historic estate in the Hudson Valley. Colors are gorgeous. Stroll around the lake or choose a more challenging trail. Truly beautiful and scenic.
The most beautiful walking park you will ever encounter, it is a must see. The trails of the preserve are crushed stone carriage roads laid out by John D. Rockefeller Sr. and Jr. in the first half of the 20th century. Designed to complement the landscape, 45 miles of scenic carriage roads are wide and easy to walk.
A short trip to a large state spark. Take the metro north to Philiipse Manor station. Uber or Lyft to the entrance.
