Only 30 minutes to the East, you won't want to miss the Fort Larned National Historic Site! Open year round, but with special dates throughout the year with Historic Re-enactments and events.

This is an excellent historic example of a working fort from the days of the Santa Fe Trail. Highly recommend a visit to the Fort.
