The best curated shop in the area, these guys have a knack for finding tasteful, beautiful things — old and new. It isn't cheap, but if you want to take home a bit of Hillsdale or find a generous housewarming present, this will be your best bet.

Housed in Hillsdale's original general store, this renovated shop offering "useful and beautiful things for country life" has a nice mix of old and new. The owners also operate a kitchen store (complete with cooking classes) across the street. (With a farm-to-table cafe called Crossroads Food Shop next door, and a tiny art gallery called LABspace downstairs, you can easily spend a couple of hours in town.)
