Great cafe with kids play area. Fabulous views over lake Karapiro. Good spot to start a walk or bike ride or spot an athlete training.

Why not hire some e-bikes and ride out to Lake Karapiro on the bike path! In summertime there’s a real fruit ice cream store (berry box - check opening hours) or you could ride out to podium cafe. The dedicated cycleway extends the length of the lake. Beautiful on a sunny day!
