Very close to the cottage if you go to the Cold Mountain entrance. There is hiking, fishing, biking, horseback riding, and sight seeing. Please use a map and you must provide your own bikes, horses, and fishing equipment as there are no rentals available. This is a locals favorite place to adventure.

Great network of hiking trails also open to mountain bikes. Vistas, balds, waterfalls, and rock outcroppings abound.
