The Frisco Highline Trail winds 35 miles through the scenic Ozarks, and it connects Springfield to Bolivar, Missouri. The trail was designated a National Recreation Trail by the National Park Service and American Trails in 2004. The trail is made possible by donors and members of Ozark Greenways, who owns this scenic Rail-Trail. Many thanks to the Springfield-Greene County Park Board for their help maintaining the south half of the trail! This is 9.3 miles from the Little Red House. You are also able to pick up this trail in Willard, MO which is 2.0 miles from the Little Red House.
