The Duquesne Incline is a historic and fun ride. Seniors ride free. The views are spectacular. You can see downtown Pittsburgh and the gorgeous architecture of the buildings. You can see the Point and many bridges. Also, you can see Heinz Field and PNC Park. You are right where the three rivers meet. Up on Mt. Washington, there are very good nearby restaurants. A trip at night is worth it to see the city lit up. This historic mechanized wood car transports 18 people or up to 5,000 lbs. The traveling distance is about 0.25 miles. It served people living at the top since 1872. In 1962, there was talk about dismantling it because of lack of ridership and maintenance cost. Cash Only $2.50

Duquesne Incline features more beautiful cars, a historic museum, and the better view.
