Restaurant is called Stage on Magdalen Road which does incredible creative dishes. There are no Tacos, that’s just their old name and I can’t update the link! It’s a set menu that changes daily, you just share your preferences or allergies in advance (vegan, veggie, gluten free etc all fine) and you are presented with 6-8 tasting dishes. All ingredients locally sourced, cured or grown. Very unpretentious and great atmosphere. Perfect if you’re looking for something different and appreciate Michelin / fine dining style food but without the pomp.

Stage (as its known) is small & friendly, a buzzy atmosphere with a set tasting menu. If youre looking for something different, check this place out!

The Stage is new to Exeter and is an excellent addition to the food scene, offering a weekly tasting menu the local legends 'The Taco Boys' have not disappointed us. We went along a few weeks back, and the food, drinks and service made for a fantastic evening out.

Stage by The Taco Boys. If you like something a bit different and enjoy a unique dining experience then this is the place for you! With a set tasting menu four courses for lunch and seven courses for dinner with a drinks flight to accompany each course which is amazing! Book early as they are usually full!!!
