The main entrance is through beautiful ornamental wrought iron gates in Park Road, and just inside the gates is a magnificent memorial fountain. There are surfaced paths around and through the park. It has a well equipped children’s play area and during the summer there is a refreshment kiosk. A unisex/disabled toilet is available with a key from the refreshment kiosk. A floodlit multi use ball games area is provided without charge for the users of the park Margate Youth Football run a training facility within the park and there is also a bowling club that welcomes members of the public during the open season.
