Best simple Italian fare in RVA. Basically a take out place but there are two small tables inside, not much of a dining area, just a place to sit. Pizzas, sandwiches, salads, desserts as well as Italian pantry products to entice you to try and copy cat their menu (but no one can).

The secret is in the red sauce at 8 ½. This Italian takeout restaurant has two locations serving up everything from breakfast pizza to vegan thin-crust pizzas. Location: 401 Strawberry St (The Fan) & 2709 E Marshall St (Church Hill)

a wonderful italian take out. Right next to scuffletown park. enjoy a sub or pizza, bring it over to scuffletown park and enjoy a relaxing lunch.
